Wellness Classes based on Capacitar Practices:

Healing Ourselves, Healing Our World

Classes include Tai Chi and Pal Dam Gum exercises as well as meditation and some breathing exercises and mindfulness techniques. Please were comfy clothes to allow easy movement!

Weekly Class at the Old & Abbey Church, West Abbey St., Arbroath, DD11 1EQ

Thursday Mornings 10.30 - 11.45 a.m. weekly from 10th January until Easter 2019.  £4 donation 

 A special "Wellness Awayday" will be organised for Spring 2019, all attenders, regular or irregular on the Tuesday or Thursday group are welcome to come along.

Classes are on-going each week and will generally be taught by Fran Marquis, there are other trained local teachers, like Linda Nicol, so you will always be in safe hands.

Linda also teaches a weekly class in Inverkeilor community Hall from 9.30 on Tuesday mornings during term time.£3.00 weekly.

All welcome! 

No evening classes at present though could begin if enough interest.

Capacitar means "to empower" in Spanish. Capacitar's mission is to teach Mind-Body-Spirit practices to empower healing, wholeness and peace both in the individual and in the world. 

Capacitar wellness practices are useful for any age group and Fran is happy to do hour long sessions in schools, in sheltered housing or in businesses as taster classes so please get in touch if you are interested in one-off or regular sessions to help wellbeing and increase resilience to stress.

A new Capacitar training course will run in Glasgow and Perth starting in  June 2019.
